1. Glow-Wire Test
- Standard number: IEC 60695-2-10 / IEC 60695-2-11
- Test purpose: To evaluate the ignition and flame retardancy of materials or components under high temperature conditions, and to simulate the local overheating scenario caused by circuit failure.
- Method:
- Use a nickel-chromium wire heated to a specific temperature (such as 550°C–960°C) to contact the sample surface and observe whether combustion or continuous flame occurs.
- The results are evaluated by "ignition temperature" (GWFI) and "flammability temperature" (GWIT).
- Application: Electronic and electrical equipment housing, insulating materials, etc.

2. Flame test series
(1) 50W flame test
- Standard number: IEC 60695-11-4
- Test purpose: To evaluate the flame retardant performance of small electrical equipment or materials under low-intensity flame (50W).
- Method:
- Use a specific burner to apply a 50W flame to observe whether the sample ignites, the flame spreads, and whether the dripping material ignites the absorbent cotton.

(2) 500W flame test
- Standard number: IEC 60695-11-20
- Test purpose: To simulate the burning effect of a high-intensity fire source (500W) on the equipment casing or material, and verify the fire isolation performance.

- The flame continuously acts on the sample surface, and the burning time, smoke generation and flame penetration are recorded.

(3) Needle Flame Test
